STANDARD FIREBLADE CONFIRMED AT EICMA, MILANO
07/11/2016 – The ‘Blade’ is out of the bag with confirmation the Standard CBR1000RR will join the Fireblade SP and SP2 to complete the CBR1000 line-up for 2017.
Announced this morning at EICMA in Milan; the CBR1000RR will come to Australia with ABS as standard and be available in Matte Ballistic Black Metallic and Victory Red.
The “Total Control” design approach has been continued through the standard model as well, with a focus on cornering, acceleration and braking.
This 25th anniversary CBR1000RR has a 14% improvement in power-to-weight ratio thanks to a weight reduction of 15 kg and has a 10 horsepower increase.
Fully loaded with a cutting-edge electronics package, the CBR1000RR is underpinned by the “Next Stage Total Control” concept, with nimble handling and amazing acceleration.
Honda has also revealed 5 other key models destined to hit Australian showrooms in 2017.
